Reliance Jio launches JioTag Go Android tracker using Google’s Find My Device network in India

Reliance Jio on Wednesday (December 18, 2024) launched the JioTag Go, an Android-based tag that works with Google’s Find My Device network. The coin-sized tracker can be used to track and provide semi real-time location updates about essential items like keys, wallets, luggage and other gadgets using Google’s Find My Device field.

The JioTag Go claims a battery life of up to 365 days, and the battery is replaceable as well.

JioTag Go weighs around 9 grams and has a built-in speaker that can play sound up to 120db for locating the device it is being attached to.

The JioTag Go is compatible with any Android device and pairs through the Google Find My Device app.

If you are outside the Bluetooth range of JioTag Go, you can still check the last location detected by Google’s Find My Device network along with the last seen time, which keeps gets updated frequently.

You can also select ‘Get Directions’ to open maps and follow the directions to reach your JioTag Go. Once near, JioTag Go will automatically connect to your phone and you can simply tap ‘Play Sound’ to find it.

To pair, install the Google Find My Device app from the Google Play Store. Turn on the JioTag Go near your phone and once the FastPair popup shows, tap ‘Connect’. Read the terms of use carefully and proceed by clicking on ‘Agree and continue’. Tap on the ‘Done’ button and with that, your JioTag Go Setup is complete.

The JioTag Go is available at ₹1,499 on Amazon, JioMart, and at Reliance Digital and My Jio Stores. It comes in four shades including black and white.

Jio previously launched JioTag Air for iOS, which integrates with the Apple Find My Network.
