The smartphone brings several upgrades over its predecessor, including enhancements in design, display, camera, and performance.

iPhone 16e Pricing in India and Global Markets

Apple has released the iPhone 16e in two color options—black and white—with storage variants of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The pricing varies across different regions:

  • India: Rs 59,900 (128GB), Rs 69,900 (256GB), Rs 89,900 (512GB)
  • United States: $599 (128GB), with installment options starting at $24.95 per month

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16e begin on February 21, with official sales starting on February 28. The device will be available in 59 countries, including the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, Canada, France, Germany, Malaysia, and South Korea, among others.

Additionally, Apple has introduced the iPhone 16e Silicone Case, available in five colors—Winter Blue, Fuchsia, Lake Green, Black, and White—priced at Rs 3,900 in India.

iPhone 16e Specifications and Features

The iPhone 16e features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Unlike its predecessor, the device now comes with an aluminum body and Face ID for secure authentication. Apple has also integrated its in-house 5G modem, improving connectivity. The phone is IP68-rated, making it resistant to water and dust.

One of the biggest highlights is the A18 chip, coupled with 8GB of RAM, allowing seamless performance. It supports Apple Intelligence, enabling AI-powered features like Image Playground and Genmoji. Users can clean up images, perform natural language searches, and experience a more advanced Siri, which integrates with ChatGPT for smarter responses.

Additionally, the battery life has been improved by up to six hours compared to the iPhone 11. Apple has also introduced a USB-C port, enhancing connectivity and charging capabilities. Another key upgrade is the Action Button, a feature previously seen in the iPhone 15 Pro models, offering customizable shortcuts.
